Nafeza 2 world - Police have have begun a new search for remains of a man whose torso was found in a woodland.

They are examining an area of Worsley Woods in Salford as part of their investigation into the death of Stuart Everett.

Some of his remains were found on wetlands at Kersal Dale on 4 April.

Further remains were found at other locations and two men were charged with the 67-year-old's murder.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said officers were now searching on Roe Green Loopline, starting at the junction of Worsley Road with Greenleach Lane.

The force is trying to "keep disruption to a minimum" but said access would be limited as a result of the "small and methodical searches".

A GMP spokesperson said: "There will be further searches that will be conducted in the same way over the coming weeks."

Det Ch Insp Rachel Smith added: "We remain committed, dedicated and focused on our task, and this is another example of our ongoing work to do that".

She added the force was "being diligent and respectful towards Stuart and his loved ones who continue to try to process the tragic and upsetting circumstances".

Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski, 68, and Marcin Majerkiewicz, 42, both of Worsley Road, Eccles, have been charged with Mr Everett's murder and are due to appear in court on 18 July.
